The Burgess Residence is located on Burgess Crescent in Mississauga, Ontario, near the intersection of The Collegeway and Winston Churchill Boulevard. The property features a private, fenced backyard with a spacious deck, ideal for relaxing or enjoying the outdoors.
Inside, residents have access to three fully furnished common rooms and two well-equipped kitchens.
On-site laundry facilities are conveniently located on the main floor. Each bedroom is secure and individually locked, and comes fully furnished with a bed, dresser, night table and lamp, computer desk, chair, bookshelf, and closet space. Many rooms include private or semi-private bathrooms and walk-in closets. For ease of organization, each room is named, and all storage spaces, cupboards, fridge/freezer sections, and mailboxes are clearly labeled.

We foster a respectful and cooperative living environment. Students are asked to be mindful of others’ schedules, especially those on non-traditional routines. Quiet hours begin at 11:00 p.m. to ensure a peaceful and studious atmosphere.

Each resident receives a unique access code to the home, which must not be shared for security reasons. To maintain a safe and academically focused environment, visitors are limited to parents or guardians only.

All residents agree to contribute to the general upkeep of the residence, including taking out garbage and cleaning up after themselves.
Our support staff are always on call and available to assist whenever needed.

I was an international student at the University of Toronto who was new to Canada. I had moved into one of Maureen's Residences just two weeks after I immigrated to Canada. I was young, naive, nervous and home sick because I had moved from my home country at a really young age. Maureen realized this and took me under her wing in every sense of the phrase. She gave me a place to stay in her home, brought me into her family and provided me with guidance and support when I needed it.
